About Us

SMT Evidence is an independent, woman-owned organisation led by Dr. Stephanie Swift, who has more than nine years of experience in conducting large, complex systematic literature reviews (SLRs), rapid reviews, scoping reviews, living reviews, review of reviews, critical appraisals and more, particularly for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions. The organisation has been successfully trading since 2018 as Swift Science Writing Ltd.

Dr. Swift previously worked for more than eight years as a senior consultant in systematic reviews and evidence synthesis at both Mtech Access (now Petauri Evidence) and Kleijnen Systematic Reviews, where she specialised in winning and managing end-to-end complex projects; and working as part of an Evidence Assessment Group (EAG) reviewing HTA submissions for NICE (UK).

 

SMT Evidence brings a wide range of first-hand experience in healthcare research, including in vitro and in vivo, which often helps us adapt to work quickly and easily across a broad range of research areas. We have particular expertise in the fields of oncology, immunotherapy, infectious disease, orphan disease, personalised medicine, immunology and vaccines.
